I started AriWriter on May 14, 2007. This 741st post will begin with a look back into the past 24 months.
Setting the stage
I have a fair idea who reads my blog. I know some family members, high school classmates, former roommates, and assorted professional colleagues read along. I salute the number of bloggers and twitterers, many who are much smarter than me, who read my drivel. This leads to a question: How well do you think you know me?
You may know that I brand myself as a consultant, speaker, and writer.
You may know that I filed paperwork earlier this year to do business as Ari Herzog & Associates, providing online media strategies for business and government.
You may know about my recent part-time community management work with the Social Media Today organization.
Maybe you know this. Maybe you don’t.
What else do you know about me? If you started following my blog in the past six months–or even the past year–have you browsed through the archive and perused through my older stuff?
Can I share my writing and my thoughts with you?
I don’t write about myself much. There’s no better time than the present, right?
We think too small, like the frog at the bottom of the well.
It thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well.
If it surfaced, it would have an entirely different view.
