It’s important to tell readers what the President says but not in the headline. Especially not during an election season.
Stop giving Candidate Trump free advertising. Stop giving his campaign free Google rank by popularizing his name every time he speaks.
Don’t sensationalize the headline. Mention the President’s quotes in the body of the article.
And — stop live coverage of his White House briefings. Boycott and fact-check instead.
