There is a bar in Elgin, Texas (about a half hour from Austin) that refuses entry to people who wear a mask. That’s not a typo.
There are people of all ages who sunbathed on an Alabama beach without masks. Their reasons scare me.
Today is May 28.
On March 28, I wrote about the importance of wearing masks.
A week later, I shared a long list of places to buy masks.
I don’t understand why people in public settings don’t cover their mouth and nose. Did they not get the memo that the 2019 novel coronavirus is predominantly spread through respiratory droplets and airborne aerosols?
If they want to get sick, fine. But why force other people to get sick?

Why don’t other people get it?
Oh, wait. I know why.
Jimmy Kimmel explained it. He talked about them in a monologue.
They believe in the alternative facts (remember that term?) proclaimed every day from 1600 Penn Ave and right-wing conspiracy theorists.
Maybe they will learn the error of their ways and cover up before it’s too late. I have to believe it’s possible.
