The Best Blogs to Read in 2013

There are blank pages.

During the final days of last year, Danny Brown published his list of 5 bloggers that everyone should follow and read.

Three of the five I never heard of before, and therein lies the beauty of Danny’s list. It is his list.

Do you have a ‘best of’ list? What are your suggested blogs for me to subscribe to, read, comment on, and share?

Please add a comment with their links and a brief description why they’re so damned good. Your own blog does not count.

Thanks, and happy new year.

  1. Love this blog, I used to wait tables part time so might not be appropriate for everyone but real funny stuff. I havent kept up with it in years but the old blogs are amusing.

  2. Among the blogs suggested by Danny Brown I prefer AGBeat and FutureBuzz but the other three I do not like. In-fact I regularly used to follow SEOMoz but now a days I can’t find the recent posts to be that helpful as earlier.
Blogs that I would recommend depending on my personal way of making things understand are:

    SearchEngineLand
    MarketingLand
    SEORoundTable

I mainly do not look for too many blogs for learning IM tactics or latest updates in there. I am new to this blog but I would to add that this blog is catchy with its blog posts and kind of titles it has.

    Thanks
    Stephen

  3. I stopped reading a lot of blogs last year, mostly because I discovered Reddit. You can literally find a subreddit for just about anything and everything, tons of information on that topic, and can even ask for help, guide and assistance. Yes, a lot of the subreddits are just full of, well, garbage, to put it mildly. But subreddits like Photography, for instance, are just goldmines of information!

I still read Kristi Hines’s blog (@kikolani), ProBlogger (the best in the business!), HubSpot and the SEOMoz Blog. Quality blogs, all of them!

  4. Pat Zalewski says:

Ari, I read two blogs without fail.
    Chris Brogan – http://www.chrisbrogan.com/blog/
I like his business style and strategy. His books are my bibles and he is extremely helpful. I just finished a blogging class with him that was beyond my expectations.

    Steven Pressfield – http://www.stevenpressfield.com/
I have read Turning Pro, The War of Art, and Do the Work which have influenced my perspective and behavior. He is a leader in the evolving book publishing business.
