All things must come to an end — and AriWriter is about to die.
…and this blog has already been reborn…

Don’t fret, though, for it shall be reborn — on a different domain and with a different name.
I bought ariwriter.com in 2007 with a desire to continue the type of blogging I’d done in 2004 on LiveJournal. The ‘ariwriter’ moniker was based on my freelance writing career earlier in the decade. Had I the foresight to consider where my blogging would take me, and how that blogging would segue into leading workshops and organizational consulting, I wouldn’t have bought the domain — and would have built this blog around my other domain.
That other domain — ariherzog.com — is where this blog will shortly be.
With a different domain comes a different name — my name. Visit the blogs of Danny Brown, Chris Brogan, or Shel Holtz as an example. As I meet with colleagues and consultants to relaunch my business, I feel I should combine the content on my domains and put everything in one place, under my name.
At the end of the day, it’s all about branding.
If you subscribe to AriWriter by RSS or Email, nothing will change. If you visit this blog by a browser bookmark, you will be automatically redirected. Considering ariwriter.com has a page rank of 5 and ariherzog.com has a rank of 4, I’m confident it will rise — like the phoenix — fairly quickly.
In time, search engines will index the new instead of the old.
As you can see from my next article entitled, ‘Rebirth,’ things look a little different. I hope you stick around as we grow together in this new year…
