Ari, if you notice, some of the names used by these people/bots are pretty funny: Spica Enunciable (whaaat?), clotilde? Yeah sure!
Indeed they are. Further proof of their fakeness.
Hem, and you your point being…?
The point is in the subject.
Ari, didn’t Twitter recently start actively culling people who seemed to have fake accounts? I also recently read a nice post about “Influence Platforms” such as Wahooly starting up…this should definitely start taking away from the “influence” of these twitter spammers.
unfortunately you also got this problem on instagram. the more you usehashtags, which are used often, the more you got comments and likes from spam profiles! Sad but true!
I don’t tweet enough, keeping my comments down to a few and still fitting in a url seems too limiting. Still I notice some of my followers tweet like they have no life. and often the same tweet.
Here is an unrelated question, how do I tell who is following me that I am following? I have 999 followers and 2000 im following and I can’t follow anymore until I get more? So Im thinking delete those that aren’t following me and then I can still grow by following others? Any help here?
Thanks Rob
If you look at your followers list, anyone you’re following will be marked such.
If you’re using a social media dashboard like Hootsuite then you could just type out that message and check all those social media accounts to have this posted in seconds. Unfortunately people out there still fall for the tricks of spammers, but with a little experience you learn how to identify and avoid them.
